Dypher

Solutions for systems where being wrong is expensive.

Dypher is an engineering studio. We take custom work that needs real depth in the problem: financial infrastructure, distributed ledgers, security, and multi-jurisdiction operations.

Producing code has never been cheaper. Showing that it does what it claims, under review, in production, a year later, is the part that still takes work.

That is the part we are hired for. Every engagement ends with source, documentation, and a way for your own team to verify the result without us in the room.

what we build

Systems and Platform Engineering

Custom platforms for companies that have outgrown their existing tooling: multi-tenant SaaS, internal operations systems, billing, and reporting. We take systems from architecture through production and keep them maintainable after launch.

Backend and Infrastructure

High-load backends, APIs, and data flows built for low latency and predictable behaviour under real-world traffic. Kubernetes-based infrastructure, automated CI/CD, and monitoring that surfaces problems before users report them.

Canton Network and Daml

Ledger applications, validator operations, and developer and operator tooling for the Canton Network. With our own validator node on the Canton mainnet, every tool is tested against a real node before anyone else sees it.

Security and Audit Readiness

Threat modelling, hardening, key management, and incident readiness across business, industrial, and blockchain infrastructure. Decisions are documented, changes remain traceable, and evidence is collected so reviewers can reproduce and verify the work.

Operations and Compliance Automation

Document workflows, approvals, reporting, and internal tooling for companies operating under multiple regulatory regimes simultaneously. Built on proven solutions developed through running these workflows day to day.

AI and Automation

Agents and LLM-backed workflows integrated into existing business logic, with routine tasks handled automatically and decisions left where they belong. Secure and transparent, with strict LLM limitations and enforcement controls.

how we work

You talk to the engineers

No account layer between you and the people writing the code. The person accountable for the result is named on day one and does not change quietly.

Written scope first

Work starts from a specification with acceptance criteria you approve. If a requirement cannot be stated as a checkable result, we rewrite it until it can.

Handover is part of the job

Source, documentation, deployment steps, and the tests. You should be able to run and change the system without calling us.

We say no

If the work sits outside what we can do well, we say so on the first call and, where we can, name someone who can.

who we are

A small core

A permanent core that owns architecture, security, and delivery, working with a standing group of specialists we bring in per project. The core stays on every engagement from scope to handover, so nothing is handed to a stranger halfway through.

Where we come from

Security engineering against bank and government requirements, distributed systems, and financial software. On the operations side, corporate structuring and company management across multiple jurisdictions, which is why compliance tooling is something we build rather than something we outsource.

How we take work

Fixed scope with milestones, or a retained engagement when the system needs someone on it continuously. We turn down work that would leave you dependent on us to keep it running.

contact

Tell us what you are building, what is blocking it, and when you need it. The reply comes from someone who would do the work.
